Here is a wonderful brass headboard that nicely fits a California King mattress. You just need to attach the headboard to a metal mattress frame. This headboard was purchased from an old Hollywood estate of a husband and wife directing/acting duo famous in the 1940’s. It has a traditional feel and warm patina. The brass is not solid throughout, as the larger pieces are hollow, so it’s structurally sound but not crazy heavy.
