Contemporary Design
The expressive cabinet weave is made of solid birch wood and laminated birch veneér. Inspired by the most common kind of wood and weed weaving the Weave represents an enlarged version of the technique of weaving something soft around a more stable structure. The top and bottom plane of the cabinet is held together by sticks kept together like a Windsor chair. Since first shown in Milan 2012, Salone Satellite, it has received a lot of attention worldwide.
Weave double sided is a new member of the Weave family. The weave pattern follows around the whole credenza, which enables it to be placed anywhere in a room and also used as a room divider.
The cabinet is made in either birch or oak wood.
The natural finishes are treated with white pigmented hardwax oil. The black is stained black and treated with hardwax oil. The smoked oak is also treated with hardwax oil.
