A vintage shadowbox of solid brass hardware. The exceptionally large fan-shaped door plate is prominently featured, displaying great details of a finely engraved celestial scene. Pavilions with immortals standing in the court yard looking out to the heavenly scene, misty mountains under auspicious clouds, evergreen trees. Engraved Chinese characters are from a famous poem describing “Moon Brighter during Mid Autumn”. This piece of art is ready to hang, in good vintage condition. Weight 6.5 lbs.
