Vintage Design
Eames Lounge is probably one of the most famous armchair designs in the world. The design couple Charles and Ray Eames designed it in 1956 for Herman Miller. It was the first chair that the couple designed for a high-end market. Examples of these furnishings are part of the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Here we offer one of the first versions made for the Italian market, the quality of the wood used is remarkable. There are scratches, marks and small defects in the veneer but overall it is in good condition and retains all the authentic charm of one of the most iconic objects of American and international design.
