Beautiful 18th century etching by Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778)
Loose translation of the text: Knight Gio. Batt.a Piranesi D.D.D. A.B. Two ancient marble cinerary urns adorned with fine carvings and arabesques. They were found in the ancient sepulchres of Siena.
