Vintage Design
The La Rotonda table designed by Mario Bellini in 1976 has a simple sculpted base, a diagonal intersection of three legs with a square cross-section, which supports a 165 cm round table top, bound together by strong joints carved directly from the solid ash wood. The sculptural base made of intersecting beams, inspired by Max Bill works is an example of great craftsmanship. The three legs have been created using four pieces of solid wood and are connected together with a surprising twist. The La Rotonda table will be features a round 150 cm Amarante marble top. The original glass top of 165 cm is still present as well.
