18th – 19th Century Swedish Gustavian Mahogany Chest – Scandinavian Bronze Cabinet

A 18th – 19th Century, dark-brown antique Swedish Gustavian single chest made of hand crafted Mahogany with a white stone slab, in good condition. The rectangular Scandinavian cabinet is composed with three large drawers and one small one, consisting its original bronze hardware and keys, enhanced by bevelled corners and fittings. The detailed carved cupboard is standing on four arched fluted legs. The commode is particularized in the Neoclassical Greek style. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1790 – 1810, Sweden, Scandinavia.
