Offered is a classic cheese and charcuterie board made from the end grain of Teak wood pieces that comes with a blunt knife or cheese spreader originally designed in the early 1960s by Jens H Quistgaard for Dansk. Resembling a paddle, the knife is cleverly paired with the board and fits in a slot on the board to serve as a handle.
With the knife inserted, the board and its handle measure 10″ x 5.25″ x 1″.

moreThis is a vintage host(ess) serving set that has evident signs of past usage. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, or fissures, however, there are utensil marks and scratches (see photos) that have been thoroughly cleaned, lightly sanded, and gently refinished with food-safe oil and beeswax to nourish and preserve the wood. Any wear is commensurate with age and past usage. less
